Gapless Video Playback Philips SoC running Android 7 or earlier

In order to play one video after another without a black frame between them it is necessary for the device to be able to decode more than one video at the same time.

Set the Video Engine to Android Media Player. Do this in the player settings by following these steps:

• Go to the Displays page in your CMS
• Use the row menu for the Display and click Edit
• Go to the Settings tab
• Scroll to the bottom and you will see an option named Video Engine. Use the Override box to change it to Android Media Player
• Save to confirm the change
