Removing a pre-installed Player App version from your DSDevice

In order to apply a white label or install a different version of the Android Player App, you will need to remove the pre-installed version on a DSCS9X, DSCS95 and DSCS9.

First connect a mouse or keyboard using one of the USB ports on the side of the DSDevice and make sure it is connected to your network:

1. Click the Settings app
2. Click Apps from the menu on the right hand side of the screen
3. Click See all Apps
4. Locate the Xibo player app and select it.
5. Click Uninstall

DSCS9

1. Click on the Settings App
2. Click the General option from the System Settings menu
3. Scroll to the bottom and click More Settings
4. Click the Home option from the Android System Settings menu
5. Click the bin icon at the end of the entry for Xibo
6. Click OK to confirm

The Player App version will now be removed to allow for a white label or different version to be installed to the DSDevice.
