# Removing a pre-installed Player App version from your DSDevice

In order to apply a white label or install a different version of the Android Player App, you will need to remove the pre-installed version on a DSCS9X, DSCS95 and DSCS9.

First connect a mouse or keyboard using one of the USB ports on the side of the DSDevice and make sure it is connected to your network:

1. Click the **Settings** app
2. Click **Apps** from the menu on the right hand side of the screen
3. Click **See all Apps**
4. Locate the Xibo player app and select it.
5. Click **Uninstall**

1. Click on the **Settings App**
2. Click the **General** option from the System Settings menu
3. Scroll to the bottom and click **More Settings**
4. Click the **Home** option from the Android System Settings menu
5. Click the bin icon at the end of the entry for Xibo
6. Click **OK** to confirm

The Player App version will now be removed to allow for a white label or different version to be installed to the DSDevice.
