How do I connect my Android Player App to the CMS manually?

Follow the steps below if you cannot connect your device to the CMS with the recommended 'Use Code' option.

• Go to Settings under the Administration section of the main CMS menu
• From the Configuration tab, copy the CMS Key
• Open Xibo in the app drawer of the Android device
• Use the Configuration Menu and click Connect
• Click Manually Configure to access the CMS URL and Key
• Enter the fully qualified address of the CMS

For example; https://cms.example.org or https://example.org/cms

• Enter the copied CMS Key

This will create a Display in your CMS

• From the CMS menu, click on Displays
• Use the row menu for the new Display record and click Authorise
• Click Yes to confirm
