You will need

• Latest Android player release from Xibo
• Orchestrate login, supplies after purchase by Amino
• Xibo Settings file, download here
• Xibo CMS login
• Android Player Licence (Users not on a Xibo plan)

Initial Set-up - Uploading Apps into Orchestrate

• Login to Orchestrate
• Using the left hand menu, click Applications
• Click the Add Application button
• Provide the Application Name
• Click Choose File to upload the Android APK
• Click Save

Orchestrate Configuration

• Using the left hand menu, click Configurations
• Click the Add Configuration button
• Provide a Configuration Name
• Click the Submit button
• From the Applications tab, Add Action
• Use the drop-down and select Xibo for Android
• Click to Save Changes
• From the Parameters tab, select the firmware
• Set the Upgrade Type
• Click the Import from file button and upload the Xibo Settings file (downloaded from the link)

This will provide standard System Settings as well as provide Advanced Parameters.

• Use the drop-down for the Home App setting and select Xibo for Android
• Check Language and Timezone fields to ensure that these are correct
• Click to Save

Test Connectivity

Run an Orchestrate Connectivity Test to make sure that Orchestrate is accessible:

• Using the screen Remote Control Unit click the following: Menu - Network - Orchestrate Connectivity Test

Once you have uploaded the Xibo Player Application and created Configuration(s) in Orchestrate, you do not need to re-do this each time you want to add a device. Adding a device is a three step process, as detailed below.

Adding devices in Orchestrate

• Click Devices from the left hand menu
• Click Device list
• Click Add Device
• Provide the Serial Number of the device found on the nameplate sticker
• Use the drop down menu to assign a Configuration
• Click Submit

Connect to the CMS

• Power on/restart the Amino device
• Login to the CMS and navigate to the Displays page
• A 6 character activation code will be shown on screen (keep this screen open)
• From the Displays page in the CMS, select the Add Display button at the top of the grid

• Enter the activation code as shown on the Player screen
• Click to Save

The Activate Player page will automatically close once successfully connected.

Authorise the Display

• From the CMS, navigate to the Displays page
• Use the row menu for the newly registered entry and select Authorise
• Click Yes to confirm

If you are on a Xibo Plan, the Display is now ready to start showing content from the Xibo CMS

If you have purchased a licence separately, follow the steps to licence your Display.

Licence your Display

For customers not on a Xibo plan, a Licence code must be provided in order for the Display to start showing content:

• Navigate to the Display Settings page from the main CMS menu
• Select the row menu for the appropriate Display Profile and click Edit

• Provide the Licence Code in the form field
• Click to Save

The Display is now ready to start showing content from the Xibo CMS.
